Well, if you do a personality test you'll see that some people are more likely to be intuitive than others. That's not the be all and end all though, everyone can improve it. Its almost like a switch that needs to go on in your brain. It will really take you away from success/failure, and every interaction you will learn something. The best way is to give yourself lots of freedom to make mistakes, and try different things. Intuition comes from experience, and how you put that experience into the bank of wisdom. Guys can do thousands of approaches but not develop their intuition. Experience is important, but it is how you use your experience build a wealth of knowledge that matters. Next is to read and listen to whatever you can on right brain, lateral thinking, creative thinking, alternative therapies, spirituality, putting yourself into challenging situations that require instant response, and looking at the bigger picture of your game, not just the details. What you want to also do is free your mind from expectation, results, pressure, positive/negative cycle, frustration, a set goal, and just "do" without a care for the end result. What is intuition?
Essentially it is relying on an almost gut feel rather than a logical process. If you think about a footballer, he doesn't have the time to think about a logical argument about the correct decision before he kicks a ball, he must rely on developed instincts. An ability to almost predict the future, sense what is going to happen, and do the optiminum thing without thinking. The problem with being good with women is that you wanted to develop a logical system for pickup you could write 200 encyclopedias about different women, different situations, different skills, to cover every contingency plan, and it may not be enough. There are just so many variables. It would take forever, and literally thousands of interactions, if not 10s of thousands, to have a non-intuitive system that works. That isn't to say there is some logic to being good with women, because there is. And that certain things are going to help and not help in the vast majority of situations. Grow one eyebrow and you'll soon learn that. But if you want to get really good, and be able to handle a wide range of situations, and have a really high strike rate that's where instinct comes into play.
